1. Looking back at the list of your positive characteristics and qualities, what do you feel and realize about it?

Looking back to my positive characteristics and qualities, i realized that there are some good qualities that i have that i just discovered during those time when i'm making my journals.

2. The Golden Rule says “Do unto others as you would have others do unto you.”a. Given the following situations, how would you like to be treated by your teachers and schoolmates: - when you have given wrong answers to the questions during recitation, - when you are expressing your opinion during class or group discussion; - when you are giving suggestions during group work or presentation; - when you commit mistake; - when you don’t like doing what they ask you to do and - when they want to give you their comments or suggestions?

In the given situation, i would like my teachers and schoolmates to treat me nicely and show some respect.because i will do the same thing if they are in the same situation, like when they are giving their own opinion or giving a sugestion, because everyone should be given a respect when they are speacking or giving their statements.


b. Considering the given ideas on how to treat others with respect, what can you commit to yourself in terms dealing with the MCL community: teachers, students, employees, security, maintenance/janitors and canteen personnel?


We should treat others with respect, because all of us are equal to God and should be respected, it doesent matter if your in the higher or lower possition. One example is in MCL community, me as i student should not only respect the teachers but also the security, maintenance and canteen personel of the MCL community because they are also should be treated right and to be respected just like what the golden rule says.

if you will have one outstanding virtue, what would you want it to be?why?

Honesty,because i think being honest is the one that we should all be. Just like "honesty is the

best policy" we should be always honest in what we are doing. For me honesty is the best thing

that every people should have in order for us to be thrusted by ohters because it really feels

good when you know that someone thrust you.

• How does values education work to your advantage?

The values education helps me because it helps me to know what are the real values of

education and it also shows to me how important the education is. But only the value of

education it also shows the importance of the different values in our life.

• After you have processed your few new experiences at MCL , in what way this will help you achieve sucessful adjustment in college?

Its a little hard when you just transfer to a new school or from high school to college. New

friends, new school ,new experience , I can almost tell that its a new life. From the entrance

exam, enrolment ,to first day of school. Those are the few experience that i can use so that i

can achieve a sucessful adjustment in college. Since these are the only experiences that i

have, i will try my best to be sucessful in college and for me to ajust easily in the life of a college

student.

• ASS: Analyze your readiness for college using the check list "making transition from high schoolto college".

Theres a big differences from highschool to college. One is the time management, in high school

your teachers always remind you to always come on time while on college you have to be

responsible because you manage your own time. In highschool most of my friends and

classmates already know me since elementary while on college ill meet a lot of new people and

make a new friends. Its really hard because theres a lot of changes but ill try my best for me to

easily ajust.
